EPOS Annual Show and Sale, 26-28 August 2011

Firstly, apologies for my somewhat extended absence from the "blogosphere" - work has been (and continues to be) pretty hectic at the moment, and I've had various other (non-plant-y) crises to deal with too, so blogging time (not to mention plant care time) has been pretty thin on the ground. It's amazing to see my last post was in April, but it only feels like yesterday! Also, being winter, activity on the balcony has slowed right down, although we've seen a few plants come into bloom and finish before I got around to taking photographs (including my first Masdevallia, Laelia and Mediocalar decoratum blooms)! :/

I thought I'd take this opportunity to announce the upcoming Annual Show and Sale being held by my local Orchid Society, the Eastern Province Orchid Society (EPOS).

The show is being held at the Sherwood Garden Centre in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on the 26-28 September 2011. The show will feature the member's various flower entries, a tea garden, orchid sales, flower arranging demos and orchid potting/mounting demonstrations. Entry is just R5.
