If I were to guesstimate, about 15-20cm wide, about 10cm tall; the spike can get to >20-30cm tall. It's a terrestrial.

There are photos of the whole plant from last year over at OrchidBoard; http://www.orchidboard.com/community/miscellaneous-other-genera/44719-stenoglottis-saturn-electric-x-stenoglottis-woodii-blooms.html#post387420 gives you a good idea what the whole plant looks like.

Those spikes just kept getting longer and longer and more and more covered in flowers, but I got busy and photography took a back seat! They're great little plants and go through a dormancy in the winter.James Stapleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10040742550730807408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5564540719603825033.post-89326733296193888232012-03-09T00:43:40.657+02:002012-03-09T00:43:40.657+02:00Thanks for commenting on the new post, James. How large a plant is that?Ronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02396895652310296971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5564540719603825033.post-74507111103146831752012-03-08T23:57:25.808+02:002012-03-08T23:57:25.808+02:00Thanks for stopping by Carolyn, yes indeed, it is ...Thanks for stopping by Carolyn, yes indeed, it is very exciting :)James Stapleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10040742550730807408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5564540719603825033.post-71967807774285524342012-03-08T20:22:27.955+02:002012-03-08T20:22:27.955+02:00Nothing like the excitement of a new bloom!Nothing like the excitement of a new bloom!Carolyn ♥https://www.blogger.com/profile/05722229442110193733noreply@blogger.com
